Gemstone Bolo Tie Slides ~ Stone Variety and Custom Cut Designs

Today I decided to post about bola or also known as bolo tie slides.

There are many varieties available. I learned this very quickly when I started

creating jewelry. I am going to share my knowledge of our gemstone bolo ties.

  I will have photos of actual pieces we   custom cut. This will help you understand the vast possibilities of colors ,styles, cuts and different types of gemstones.    (Picture above is our Texas Plume Moss Agate Slide)

 
 

 I have to warn you, I am not the best at perfect sentences etc... I love to write and create and sometimes ideas and thoughts go faster than expected :) I get so interested in sharing thoughts and ideas that the formality of writing tends to break my train of thought. OKAY OKAY ENOUGH OF THAT ALREADY!

Let's take a look at bolo slides in purple: amethyst, plume moss jasper, dendritic.. lavender different rocks and patterns of purples and amethyst.Each one creates a unique piece of art or jewelry.

This happens when you use different amethyst rocks. Amethyst with inclusions and layers of mixed minerals, your specific cuts of slabs. The angle or direction you cut your rock and thickness of your slab also contributes how your jewelry
or art will look when finished going through the lapidary process.

Both bolo tie slides are cut from Same Amethyst Rough Rock , different slabs, different cut at angles though
