She states colors are important to good mood. I find this to
be very true. I basically let the mood and colors of the day I choose to
help my creativity and just embrace the sense of being myself and being
ok with it!

The only difference with me is that moods change so I use these to allow myself the
chance to express myself freely. Different moods are ok besides just happy ones!

For me it allows me to experience and be ok with how I am feeling.
Colors and moods lend to my ability to create different jewelry pieces or poetry that
do not limit me o feel a certain way :)

I love all colors and hues like one you find in sunsets, each day a new piece of tapestry beautiful and unique in it's own way. Paua shell or abalone pieces are like this for me! Certain settings or pieces I design, if not quite the exact cut and/or color in the stone or quality I feel it portrays , effects me. It is during these times I will wait or continue to work with a design until I have found "that one." It is a settling sort of feeling. The kind that" You Just know" it is complete!

It is true that using color can change your mood when feeling down and
out of sorts. It is clearly a wonderful way to lift ones spirits :) Change the outlook
with a change in the colors :) I hate when I don't know what I want to wear or if I feel blah :)

I have learned to also embrace those times, to allow myself to say I feel down today. Perhaps
a baby blue soft pastel color with jeans to bring out the hues of self acceptance.
Cameos with delicate Butterflies or profiles and expressions of Victorian Women to express my
girly side :)

Cameos w Harsh, cold,or Empty expressions, color, type of carving in the cameo ( to me) also can speak volumes of the era and time period women went through. You can feel the moods of self preservation, determined, dominant or hopeful. Features with the harshness of rigid detail and bland color tends to
depict a distance to emotion or being unapproachable


I am learning to acknowledge ones mood or temperment tends to allow these moods to linger less
or to allow better self awareness. For those who feel unconnected, timid, experimenting with different colors and textures can bring a new sense of well being that was hidden waiting to express itself :)

Whatever the case enjoy or embrace the moments. Know you can change the way you feel or accept the way you feel at the moment. Stuffing it away can make it worse. You can't let a gloomy or down day affect your job or chracter, but you can subtly embrace your okness by adding a splash of color to say to yourself, I am aware :) Possibly this could help prevent an embarassing moment of outbursts or tears if something hits you the wrong way that day! When you have already subtly acknowledged and allowed yourself room to feel and yet carry on for the day.
Events of the day don't control you because
some splash or hint of color can be your inner confidence being atf peace with yourself (It Just Is and
This Too Shall Pass so just allow yourself to :) Lol or GRRRRRRRRRin and bear it ,You are not alone we all have these days!


Be kind to Yourself , Awaken a New Passion or Idea You have not let yourself Try, Express Yourself
in Self Confidence, Self love and Acceptance even sadness is ok Try using deep rich colors for your accessories to moods .Perhaps eye color or Goth with a touch of Glitter can bring a sense of hope and acceptance to get you through grief or tough times. Experiment with Color and let it define that Inner You :)
